Membership of the 9 hole Arderne Course is available to all applicants (limited to 100) during 2002 season at a cost of £400.00 subscriptions without any joining fee. Members wishing to play the Championship or Premier Courses will receive a 25% reduction on Summer green fee rates.
Available to all categories of membership. Subject to a minimum of £5.00 additional charge for non-shareholder members.
Computer analysed lessons and use of the state of the art technology.
• Three magnificent golf courses - Championship, Premier and Arderne. Full use of the Portal Courses is available at all times they are open and playable when not in use for pre-arranged purposes.
• Two fully equipped and furnished clubhouses with banqueting suites, locker rooms and attendants and private members' suites.
• Three resident category 'A' PGA golf professionals who are available for the provision of advice and assistance, tuition and equipment maintenance.
Full time Director of Golf, whose staff deal with:
• arrangement of tee times
• complimentary vehicle parking and valet service
• complimentary club cleaning
• organisation of caddies and golf cars
• A modern fleet of golf cars at the Championship, Arderne and Premier Courses.
• Golf Academy and Driving Range, with professional or self tuition facilities.
• Course Rangers who will, at appropriate times, patrol the courses to ensure that dress code and rules are adhered to and assist with start times and the free flow of play.
• Regularly organised Members' Competitions.
• Two fully stocked golf shops, open 7 days per week.
• Course hospitality in the service of food and beverages at Forresters Lodge (adjacent to the 5th and 14th greens of the Championship Course) or by mobile delivery through a number of catering buggies
• Laundry and shoe care services.
• Tennis facilities with professional tuition available on request
• Fully equipped Snooker Room at the Premier Course.
• Reservation facilities with nearby quality hotels
Monthly credit account facilities, subject to management approval and payment within 15 days by direct debit. A management team who are available for consultation with members on any matter concerning Portal Golf. Full conference and corporate entertaining plans designed to suit any occasion.
